Walking

Community Walking Project - a digital story on engaging individuals, organizations and communities to promote walking. This 2010 project focused on diabetes prevention and management through walking in Edmonton neighborhoods.

Winter Walking for Walking Leaders - trained walking group leaders are an important part of a successful and sustainable walking group, especially when leading walks in colder weather.

Provides suggestions for parents, community recreation leaders, and local and provincial governments on how to increase the physical activity level of children in Canada.
