Oct 15 - 17 | London, England | by International Society for Physical Activity and Health (ISPAH)
Abstract Deadline: Feb 1, 2018
The 7th ISPAH Congress is taking place in London on 15-17 October 2018 at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in the heart of Westminster. This is the first time the ISPAH Congress has taken place in the UK, and ISPAH is delighted to host the event in the city where the link between physical activity and health was first established, through Jerry Morris’s landmark London bus study.
The conference will be co-hosted with Public Health England and Sport England – the two agencies leading the physical activity and health agenda in England. The congress has three main themes: Addressing inequalities within and through physical activity; Evidence into practice to achieve population change; and Physical activity and the wider determinants of health.
They are accepting abstracts across a broad spectrum of topics and are hoping to build on the success of previous events in bridging the gap between research, policy and practice. They aim to develop a program which is relevant to these broad audiences.
