Balance training promotes joint stability such as your knees, ankles, and hips. This can prevent a large array of injuries including sprained ankles and serious knee problems. Balance is important as you age and can be practiced daily or as often as possible. Balance activities also improve your motor skills and coordination, as well as reduce your risk of falling.
You can do some of these activities separately or as a circuit. Include some balance activities with your home workout.
